Patients do not experience problems such as sensitive teeth or soft tissue discomfort with this treatment, making it a safe and effective way to brighten the teeth and enjoy a more brilliantly beautiful smile. This treatment is great for patients who are too busy to deal with whitening every day at home, and can provide fast results for special events that may be quickly approaching such as weddings or reunions in which patients want to look their absolute best!
Take-home whitening tray kits
The other solution available for our patients is take-home whitening tray kits. We know that some of our patients have busy lifestyles but want to whiten their smile in the comfort of their own home. In this situation, we encourage patients to ask about our tray system with the Zoom! take-home whitening kit. Using 22 percent carbamide peroxide, the teeth are brightened over the course of several weeks while patients wear their custom trays and use our professional-strength bleaching gel to gradually brighten their smiles. This method of whitening is often considered by patients seeking an economical solution with more gradual results. It also gives patients more control over their whitening process.

Combination treatment
In some situations, patients may consider the benefits of a combination treatment. This combines both in-office power bleaching and take-home whitening kits. The initial appointment completes the in-office services, and then patients use the take-home whitening system to continue to brighten the smile and to maintain the results over the course of many months. Dr. Shakti Singh is an orthodontic specialist in Ontario. Originally from New Delhi, he was an outstanding student, earning an Indian Dental Association Scholarship.
